| SLU (9-7, 2-1) pulled out a 57-56 victory over 20th ranked Tulane University (14-4, 2-1) in the Bauman-Eberhardt Center (814 attendance). Despite trailing 27-25 at halftime, the Billikens kept the game close and competitive with outside shooting from Kirsti Holloway. SLU took a 57-56 lead into the final minute and survived a last second attempt by the Greenwave. Tulane controlled the boards 37-24 over the shorter Billikens; Gwen Slaughter collected a game-high 13 boards for the Greenwave. |
